#repost @realratedred According to the company’s website, a novel form of transportation that is being touted as the “world’s first flying bike” has been officially launched in Japan at a cost of nearly $555,000. The XTURISMO, a 12-foot-long “luxury air cruiser” inspired by the “Star Wars” universe, has been created by AERWINS, an aircraft manufacturer.

Weighing 661 pounds, this vehicle is powered by two large central rotors powered by a gas-fueled Kawasaki motor generating 228 horsepower. It is equipped with an electric battery that powers four fans located at the outer edges of the vehicle, providing additional stability during the ride. The XTURISMO is a finalist in the 2023 Edison Awards.
